• U.S. Government Rights. The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA), with funding made available by the Department of Defense (DOD), Office of Military Community and Family Policy , sponsored the development of materials published or distributed on this website under USDA Award No. 2012-48751-20279, awarded to the University of Georgia (UGA). The UGA, together with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC) – the University Development Team – developed works under this award, and may assert copyright in those works, provided that the U.S. Government reserves a royalty-free, nonexclusive and irrevocable right to reproduce, publish, or otherwise use the works for Federal purposes, and to authorize others to do so.
